A few niggles, but great overall

So sometimes the lip sync doesn't quite match up with the sound file and in general, the sound is a little on the quiet side. That does not stop this being a great flash.

I love all those little philosophical jokes related to god and free will. I have just one question: Why did you make him look like Colonel Sanders, the KFC guy?

And man, I want his job.

CaptainMcMuffin responds:

You're right, he does sort of look like the KFC guy, however I've never really thought of it that way before. Actually I hate KFC and I'm a vegetarian, har har. I guess that's just what I thought a personification of God in Vegas would look like when I was drawing him.

Toof Cruise?!

This was a hilarious episode. I love this quirky series and think there's plenty more to work with. Fillings, for a start.

I want to see more, the animation is simple and very effective (which I love) while the characters are more animated than most, with all of the independant facial fetures moving pretty much all of the time.

MACception responds:

Yeah, I love the fact that I can do so much with the characters...I can add little features that just make them look so cool and unique. I really love making these, as long as I change it up. The parts where there's just talking bores me to DEATH. And I know it does the same to you guys :)

I think those little bastards are adorable, dont you? I love using the different face features 'cause they vary a great deal in range of emotion...they can look WAY pissed, WAY happy, or excited or whatever...I likes it :D

Like this

Fast moving, tri-threaded jokes, which conveniently roll back into one at the end. The sound is a little quiet and maybe needs more background sounds (resteraunt's are never that quiet, believe me!)

GUTOONs responds:

Thanks, I was trying to make some background music, but couldn't get anything close to sounding the way I wanted it to.

Thanks,
GU

No sound holds this back.

Sound effects for the punches, slaps, explosions and bodies hitting walls would really make this a good flash. If you could do that, then you're halfway to making a successful series, if that's the sort of thing you're after.Maybe a little music as well.

The animation style is simplistic and works really well, by the way.

Toes-as-Teeth responds:

thx for the review

Nice job

The inuendo in here is superb. The voice talent is great, the preloader made me laugh and it was overall very enjoyable to watch.

*cracks open a beer* In fact, I think I'm going to watch it again

Onic responds:

Why thankyou good sir, glad you liked this little flash production. The preloader is my fav. part to be honest :P

Nice summary

Now I understand why you used speakonia. Saying all of those 78 (yeah right) websites was probably going to be bad for your vocal cords.

Surprised that the best one wasn't Microsoft, tbh

Murray responds:

Yeah, I would've got really tired if I said everything for this flash by using my voice.

Nice work

The lip sync is great and the animation is ultimately simple, but it really is effective.

I love Reel Big Fish, so I had to leave a review for something which does the song justice. Can you do one for Beer next please

JunkFoodKing responds:

Sorry... nothin' for Beer. I plan to do "Cheer Up".

Nice work, Xennethy

I like this overall project. In fact, I'm going ot go home in about 20 minutes and watch it all over again, it's so good. The plot is well worked from the PoV of a dedicated SW fan (get a life :P) like myself.

We only need more episodes, that's all I can really say.

Xennethy responds:

Thanks. :)
More episodes? Unlikely...

Didn't expect the joke

Andersson, your voice talent is coming along nicely. Maybe a little too close to the mic though ;)

I quite liked this one, much better than some of the other crap we've seen submitted today.

Murray responds:

Hello bother C0GMA!

Love the decor

So Blockhead has decided to do a spot of redecorating to allow space for his new lodger. I agree with the conscience, the pizza does look good on the wall.

It's so random it's funny, but I think I preferred the little teaser to start with.

Courtrooms are so stuffy they need to have someone like Blockhead to lighten the mood a little.

The-Swain responds:

It's only fair that we now discover why he wanted that pizza in Time Squad 1. Surely he never became distracted during his long journey, for home is where the heart is.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
