A happy ending?

So what's next for the adventures of Bahamut? Will he carry on with his legendary journey around the world, or will he, Hilter and AfroStar go for a slice of pizza* or something

I've missed these flashes, even though when I saw number 80 of Hitler's trek roll through the portal, I didn't think I would. You've touched me in some strange (non-homo erotic) way

*insert a better plotline in there if you wish

"So what's next for the adventures of Bahamut?"

You'll find out.

"Will he carry on with his legendary journey around the world, or will he, Hilter and AfroStar go for a slice of pizza* or something"

Nah, I destroyed the Earth. And remember when I destroyed the Sun? Where shall me and Afro_Stud go next? :P

"You've touched me in some strange (non-homo erotic) way"

You are now scaring me. BTW, I almost thought you were iscrulz with that ID alias, lol. Thanks for reviewing Coop! :)

It's only a scratch

A great animation, with good graphics, sound (except for the static on the burning) and a decent punchline

And they said the age of the short was dead. This is a nice little match (who reminds me of elmo) who died because he didn't have arms. Maybe matches need to evolve arms?

Wonchop responds:

Or maybe thorns. :3

Disturbing, yet hilarious

And a Merry Ghostmas to you as well, Michael!

This is a great animation, I never knew you had such a good singing voice. I'm almost tempted to go out and throw pumpkins at people's houses / cars / property myself, but since it's getting late, I won't bother... Next year, however...

The animation is awesome (I personally loved the death of the conscience again) and the concept is completely off the wall and once again, I'm running out of superlatives to describe how good this series really is.

I love the way that he gets around problems with life by simply being too dense to grasp the concept - something I occasionally wish I had

The one problem with this episode must be that by the sound of it, you have merged Halowe'en and Xmas, so does this leave us bereft of a Blockhead Xmas bonanza?

The-Swain responds:

I am pretty certain that Blockhead will be back for Christmas, and I've got a decent direction to go with the episode if he does. I just hope that when I read this review in January, I can look back and see that I was right!

The Conscience "death" was just a little flavor I threw in there for the heck of it; it didn't seem forced this time because I wasn't using it to resolve a problem. At least that's how I see it.

Also, I don't know about my singing voice, but I'll tell Blockhead you thought his was swell :D Though it's much easier to sing to a song you've written yourself, since I had my own vocals in mind when I wrote the sucker.

Unlucky

Well, another day, another celestial body destroyed. I might just buy you a bottle of Dr Pepper to prevent that from happening again, although there was Cherry Coke, which is a great substitute.

Why wasn't I on your list of people you wish were at your college?!

kinggila responds:

I can't list everyone. It would be too overcrowded. BTW, I managed to buy a Dr. Pepper bottle from that vending machine today. :P

Nicely done

A hugely well animated piece, which looks like it was painted, rather than drawn. The lack of voices (Why would you need them) is made up for with a hugely impressive piece played on what sounds like pipes and bells.

Did you choose the tune for the toon, or make the toon to fit the music?

It could be interesting to see this blossom into something more than just a quick flash like this. If so, I'd certanly look forward to it.

Etoli responds:

Interesting, you are the first to ask about how I animated with regards to the music. With this one, I edited the music to fit the animation. I think I prefer it the other way around, now. . .at least when I want the animation to have alot of beats.

Aar! T'was a fine flash

Are those wings just for show? Why didn't you use them to fly off the plank and leave, ya scurvy dog!

Could have done with a guest appearance from Chris the Ninja Pirate (Weebl & Bob) to make this the most awesome thing I've ever seen.

Good Job

kinggila responds:

They were too late for the ship, and so was every other famous pirate.

Good luck

I'll stop by your website every now and again to keep up to speed on the goings on in TooF, but the movies you've submitted to NG are some of the best I've ever seen - Original, funny and simply animated.

I can't wait to see the occasional movie you submit to NG, as you need to remind your part-time viewers that you're still pumping out the flash

MACception responds:

Exactly. Submissions will probably be about 1/5th as often or less for NG, but I plan to do actually MORE animations for the site. I love havin' fun, and it just wasn't happening here...Simple relocation :) A bit more emotional than I would have imagined though... :P

A little short for my taste

But this story has potential. The animation style was nice, though I was confused as to why the horse's front legs ran twice as fast as it's back legs. I would suggest that you study the mechanics of how a horse runs - the two front legs are passed by the back legs on either side, causing a massive, powerful stride.

The fight scene was far too short - these demons should have at least had a few attacks to try and hurt the hero, I know he's the best hope the humans have, but he made that look far too easy - save some of the special abilities for when he needs them.

I'm looking forward to part 2, I want to see if you take my advice on board :)

CrimsonGenesis responds:

it was a very rushed animation, it has a bunch of bugs still.

Liked it a lot

My favourites were 'Beach in a box $5.99' and 'OMG, I can't get in the box'

The graphics were neat, though some of the shorts were too short to be of any real great quality. You have some talented authors in this flash collab, I can see some careers going a long way here.

Planning on any more collabs? or are you all going to go solo now?

miniman responds:

We're definitely going to be making more.

School is starting so we're probably not going to submit them every week or anything, but we have a whole list of ideas we're going to do for the next ones.

thanks for the review :D

Not sure what to make of this

It looks to me like a slideshow of two fan art pictures. If I were to make a slideshow, I'd have at least half a dozen pieces, no matter how good they are - the art is great in the second pic, while the first one looks like an original piece which has been altrered slightly, by adding the two characters flanking Bitey's silouette.

Don't get me down as a critic of this, but I think that you may need to make more of an effort to get this passed on NG, but you can certainly go back and work on getting more pieces into the submission, since the filesize is onlt 650k, you've got plenty of space to add things.

The navbar at the top of the screen is great, except it moves around between pictures, I'd reccomend leaving it in the same place, so you don't confuse people.

ArchGenocide responds:

your right, Im not trying to make excuses but i didn't really have all the time in the world so i couldn't keep making more scenes but thankyou for the advice.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
