Nice game

The game has been worked out as a nice 'count up and leave' platform game, which reminds me slightly of a cross between Sonic and Super Mario.

I think thatthe instructions might be a little completx for the kids, but other than that, it's nicely playable and possibly addictive for the kids who play it as well.

Wheter or not I just got into playing the game for the first level and never really saw any plot, or not, I couldn't say. However, it does look from the outset that there isn't any real reason for Gunther to be ruinning around like this. I like stories in games to keep me roped in, so do kids ;)

Simply Awesome

I love the layout and graphics of this game. Such a simple concept, with a different twist to the traditional "How far can you shoot shit" contest. This one's all about skill, with where you hit the bottle, how hard you hit it and of course the control of your flying rodent.

I'm loving the obstacles and bonuses you've put out, as they take some real control skill to hit. A shame I've not managed to get my rats onto this, otherwise I'd be even further up the high scores table :)

Are you planning further games like this, or something completely different?

Thanks for your kind review. We are likely to do something completely different next. We are looking at bashing out a game every fortnight with a mixture of bod style games and silliness like this. Our next title is the start of a multi-chapter adventure, it should be available from the middle of September.

Thanks again, glad you like it.

Hmm, well, it's a soundboard

Since it's very easy to come up with the sounds from Speakonia. I did quite like "Random Noise"

Come up with some more soundboards, as you've got the basic knack here, with all of the things like the buttons and the backgrounds etc. The sounds were neat, but it would obviously be better if you extracted the sounds from something (We can't really tell with Speakonia, can we?)

Still, keep up the decent work and I look forward to something not totally clock related :)

Brilliant

This game is a must play for any puzzle fanatic. A true game of skill, that matches the genius of Sim City, but in a slightly different way.

The sound is superb and the gameplay is quite complex, but devilishly difficult, compared to other games that look so simple. I love the way that the towers sway when they get quite tall, especially if your building technique has been less than perfect :P

Will this game be the first of many, or will you be concentrating on other projects which are nothing like this now?

Hi Coop! If you liked this game, you can check out the sequal on your mobile phone called "Pyramid Bloxx"

Just as fun as the original Tower Bloxx!! :)

Thanks for the great review!

Pretty good

I think the tutorial needs more - a description about collecting power and the green 'missiles' that certain enemies fire - it doesn't give too much away about the game and the whole thing still looks pretty damned good.

I wasn't too keen on the star movement, as they conflicted a little with the missiles on the first boss, making it quite difficult. Still, I got past it and was overall impressed with the limited progress I made with the second level.

Any plans for further games, or would you make the move towards other things?

I'm going to make another Gradium one day, but not any time soon. It'll probably be next year. Thanks for your review, I'll keep the star field and the tutorial in mind when I get started on the sequel.

Quick Fire!

This was quite a good game and I really enjoyed puzzling each individual level out. What I didn't like is that sometimes you have to hit the white and others you have to avoid it, while hitting other white areas.

Surely you could have done something with the colour, to help players out here. Usually the object of the game isn't to fight the players, more to make a challenging, enjoyable game which they keep coming back to ;)

Skeik responds:

I never really thought about that D: Colors make all the difference I guess, thanks for pointing that out to me :)

Awesome game

Granted, it has an end, but this is a pretty damn good game. I've played asteroids and really enjoyed it, but this is BETTER!

The graphics and sound are superb, with the best factors being the gameplay and controls, which were perfect and I played this game to completion... might have to come back and finish it off, considering I know how to destroy the last boss, but ran out of hit points before getting all of the ships which were orbiting...

Are there any plans for further games of this type, or will you be making something completely different for your next submission?

I'm glad most people are enjoying the game!

Future plans... I'm not sure. I've started the "lazybox" game before this one sidetracked me. If this does well I'm considering making another version with more levels and "stuff" in them. I've got a lot of ideas... and I'm certainly open to any that you want to post!

Thanks again for the kind words. It means a lot!

Well...

What can I say? It's a dress up, where the options are fairly limited. The way you are going with the expressions on the faces you can attach to each character would suggest that you're trying to get characters ready for some sort of comic book.

Perhaps being able to take snapshots of them and make your own comic book waould be a good idea.

I had some real trouble with the oar (I guess that's what it was) which was spinning, as once I got hold of it, I couldn't put the damn thing down, so perhaps you ahve some sort of glitch there.

Maybe a few more music options (or a mute button) would be helpful as well, just to try and broaden the scope of people who may wish to use this game.

Imacow responds:

Thanks for the review.

The oar was hard to grab onto, I coulden't find out how to make it easier.

I should have added more sound options for this.

Your idea with the comic book is cool.

Great Game

I only need to drink a load of Rum and suddenly I feel like a real Pirate!

This is a well designed and thought out game. I'm impressed by the graphics, sound and playability of it, you've even put substantial work into the plot.

What I'd really like to see (or rather hear) is voices for the characters, like a narrator for example, rather than just allowing it to tick over with you having to read it all. Maybe I'm just lazy!

Addictive

This game has certainly got me into a nice addictive mood, with both the gameplay and graphics being awesome.

It's a very interesting game, with nicely styled oriental themes, although cannonballs would tend to indicate China to me, as the Japanese tended to concentrate on Martial Arts and the Samurai.

Do you plan on any more of these games, or will this just be a one shot wonder?

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
