Nice little game

Well worthy of taking up some of my time during a lull in the office workload. I must have spent 30-40 hours on this thing over the past 6 months alone. (It was so addictive that I completely forgot to review it)

A very simple game, with a well developed interface and basic commands. I could have done with seeing a tutorial level, just to point out what can be done in the game. I know the instructions are there, but people rarely read them, with the learn from experience a tried and tested formula.

I could also have benefited from the knowledge that clicking on the cage at the bottom of the line advances the game by one line of gems. It increases the challenge and allows cocky sods like me to play a lot quicker

Frantic fun

Not really an original game, but great gameplay and a highly addictive quality to it.

I personally liked that you included a lot of, if not all the flags and nations of the world. What I'd say that you need are two things:

1) A better set of noises for the tank - they shouldn't squeak around the place and the gun / bombs should at least make explosion noises

2) A high score table, possibly linked to cookies, so that you could at least beat your own high scores when you play again.

With the game file being so small, maybe you could consider different graphics for different nations tanks. I know that would be time consuming, considering you have a hell of a lot of countries available, but it would certainly give the game originality, that's for sure. Maybe include special weapons, to give the game variety - the changes that came up for the bombs during the game was great, so why not give the occasional parachute drop of heat-seeking rounds, for example?

Really good fun

I've looked into this game and while it is similar to Worms, it has a certain attraction in that the graphics are better and the landscape doesn't just get destroyed with every weapon you use, as there are relatively few explosions.

I like the gameplay and I can see that I'm going to have to practice a little to get my aim right. Where did you come up with the idea of the colourful rodents from?

I'd certainly put in the option to mute the sound, as it's not exactly my cup of tea, but that'sthe point with games - you can't satisfy absolutely everyone, can you?

Interesting sound effects

Not entirely sure of the concept of this game - expecting a more casino approach to the game, as is usual, I still decided it would be worth a try.

Making 21 from up to 5 cards can be quite tricky, but with a little luck and a bit of skill, you can master this game quite quickly.

I'd say that you really need to give us more of an introduction into the game at the start - show us that scoring a Blackjack is worth more points than getting it with a Jack, nine and two. Do five card tricks get more points as well? I never knew about the discard rule until it was nearly too late :(

Still a decent game, but that one addition would have made it practically flawless.

Hmm...

Well, from what I remember of classic frogger, the board was effectively divided up into squares and when you tapped the key to move, you advanced one square, so the controls caught me out at first.

What I think we see as a problem is that you've not cut out the characters correctly, as the cars don't touch Pac man bafore he dies and he can't come within x of the mud before he loses a life, which I found infuriating. Taking a little more time over this would certainly help and if you made the graphics of Pac man a little less 8-bit, you'd be well on the way to a nice game.

Maybe you need a score information, getting you points for advancing so far and defiantely an option to turn the music off, as it's a little on the loud side, so I'd prefer to take it off. Though, rather than have me just turn off my speakers, give me some sort of funny splat sound effect for pac man getting run over, for example :)

Confusing, but addictive

I quite liked this game, but i have to say, I had quite a bit of trouble when it came to the puzzles which involved the Motion Potion. Block moving to get myself to stop in the right position. I did manage to get around to completeing these puzzles, but they were real brain benders.

Having them not wear off during the level was a real bitch, so maybe that would be an improvement, or at least have a 'restart level' button, because the number of times I screwed up would seem to indicate that we could use one here ;)

Cool game

I liked this, despite the lack of sound for the game itself, it is a lovely little game.

I wasn't too happy with the way that the enemies suddenly became really difficult to deal with at Level 9 - I'd not even lost a life up until then and all of a sudden, my defenses are breached and I cannot stem the flow of life away from me :(

Still, the graphics are quite simple - maybe a piece of animation is needed for when you lose - the enemy that killed you runs up and does something nasty and terminal to the Teddy Bear?

Needs level structure

While this is an enjoyable and very playable game in its own right, this could really do with the boost of level play. You get to the end of the level of tiles and a new board is presented with slightly less time and you see how well you can do before the time runs out.

Other than that, the graphics, sounds and playability of the game were absolutely fine. Perhaps a piece of ambient music over the top would just cap it all as well...

Quite addictive

Maybe this game could do with a more level orientated approach, in that you give the player a timer which gradually counts down before more bubbles are added to play. Given that the extra bubbles tend to add at random time intervals, I think this would be a marked improvement.

Also, if the player clears all of the bubbles, they should be able to get a new screen with more bubbles for a big score bonus.

I'd also suggest that you have a score counter, to show players how well they are progressing through the game.

I don't mind playing these games without a background tune, but I think that some need to have one playing, just to annoy you, in the traditional sense. If so, please provide a mute option for the wimps :P

Nice little game.

My spacial awareness is messed up at the moment, so I'm pretty screwed from level 6 onwards. However, I have had a nice change to look at the game mechanics. Different from many games of this type that I've seen, where you can switch the positions of two blocks, thus mamking the puzzle a lot easier to solve.

The chime you used to indicate the end of the level got old pretty quickly, but that's my only real problem with the puzzle. No music means no distraction and I can always stick iTunes on to give me some music that I would prefer.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
