I mean, seriously, who would want to do somethign that stupid, like living on their own as a teenager, when you can't afford to pay for some of the essentials.

Obviously the kid is messed up - please don't tell me you modeled him on you :P

But I digress. What you could really do with sorting out is things like the drawing - dimensions of eyes for a start. Solid blocks of colour for the irises doesn't work - they have interlaced blacks and even a second colour. My green eyes tend to be tinged with hazel, for example. When his eyes go bloodshot, the capileries need to be a lot smaller, so that the larger ones in the eye show more, then maybe spray tool the rest of the white with a little red, to give the impression of bloodshot, ratehr than making them grey.

I think you've got talent as an animator, but you really need to work on the drawing aspect of it - without that, you will suffer, but if you zoom right in, to get better control, your creative mind will allow you to harness this talent that you have.

No, I personally think the kids is a complete tool. If I did model him after me it wasn't purposely and certainly not to highlight my positive characteristics.

I just purchased a book on sketching so hopefully that'll help me in the future. I hate the fact that I'm hampered by lack of artistic ability, or I should say drafting ability, but your right I'll never get a highly ranked movie if I can't overcome it. Thanks for the review... I have to admit for a little while after I got the score I was thinking about quiting animation altogether, so time consuming to have like 300 people look at it. But after reading you guys reviews I feel more confident in it again.

Nice cameos

I liked the fact that you've used so many Newgroudns favourites in this little flash. I'm not really sure that peopel of the age you've used would / should be going out candy hunting when it comes to Halowe'en - shouldn't you have better things to do by now?

What I'd like to see is the use of Spellchecker in the subtitles - copy / paste them into Word and press F7 to get your spellchecker working. Little things like that make quite a difference to the overall presentation.

I liked the menu, which is always a welcome addition to the flash, as skipping between scenes and looking at something you've missed becomes a lot easier in that context.

Thanks, I used Word's spell check for other things, but I guess it completely slipped my mind to use it for the subtitles. I'll keep it in mind the next time I use subtitles. It might have been helpful if I made a backstory to why the Trio is still Trick or Treating at their age, but due to their extensive planning for trick or treating. They are oblivious addicted candy (CandyHolics).And they can't stop it.

Ah, so now we are onto the day to day running of the evil empire. I can see why the Mastermind just wants to have a glass of ice - living in a volcano is probably pretty warm.

I love the red colour scheme that you've given the place, it really does make the whole effect look a lot more sinister than Blockhead. Are they ever going to meet? Would this spawn some other short series, like Time Squad?

If ever you do another one of these, you need a James Bond style bad guy, who gets trapped and is expecting the Mastermind to gloat - only the Mastermind isn't called a Mastermind, because he's dumb. He just congratulates the guards, says 'Ah, Generic Bond style good guy, I have been expecting you. I would take the time to tell you all of my evil plans, but *bang* Instead, I'll just shoot you'

Perhaps the glass of ice was for Gaylord's drink...but this is just speculation. Who among us can truly compete with the scheming of the Mastermind?!

And I love Bond parodies; I think that this series is just my way of expressing what a laugh I got out of the third Austin Powers (which has gone stale for me now, but was incredible the first time I watched it in theaters).

Who knows if Mastermind might run into The Cop from Time Squad one day...

That nose would be worthy of Pinochio! He appears to have lost the use of his fabled moustache as well, which may even cause the loss of his Nazi-Superpowers.

I think that you missed the look of glee upon Hitler's face, as he tried to immitate the Meganium. What i'd suggest is that he ended up with a painted face, similar to a clown's face, only with the 'bemused munchies' rather than extremely happy, but obviously manic depressive, that tends to accompany clowns.

Also, is Meganium hiding in some sort of bush, or is it just a venus flytrap crossed with a pokemon?

Eh?

Well, while this may have taken effort to produce a completely random flash, I was left with a deep sense of emptiness for watching it.

I've never been a fan of screamers, because frankly I could make a half-decent one with the application of Flash to my computer. I don't, because it's childish. This flash has some serious issues to deal with, but most of all, the sound needs a quick and permanent fix - far too much static exists on this and half of the things that are said, I can't hear properly anyway.

Try standing furtehr from the mic when you record your sounds and then when you play them back, it doesn't sound like you're recording them with a sheet of paper taped across your mouth or like you've swallowed a cazoo.

I would love to see a subtitle bar, so we could actually see what we are supposed to hear during the production.
