Over sounded

This is a decent submision, but I feel that you over egged the sound a little in places - sometimes, there was too much static on various effects and they sounded way too loud for the purpose in the context of the animation.

Now that I've over-used my allotment of long words for this review, I'll get onto the good stuff. The drawing of SBC was good and it seemed to fit very well with the animation, but I'm not really a fan of the 'chunky' background that you drew.

Are you going to do something clock related for anything other than Clock Day?

Imacow responds:

Yea alot of the sounds were alot more lo quality then I would of hoped.

I was dissapointed with most of the backgrounds myself.

Maybe, most likely no.

Truly Bizzare

Well this is quite an unusual abstract piece. Do you get the music first and animate something random to fit, or do you make the animation and then find a piece of music to fit.

My favourite part was the eyeball on the fishing hook. Totall uncalled for and bizarely well placed.

The animation is excellent, although borderline insane. The sound is good quality, with no discernable errors, although it's not really the stuff I usually listen to, so how would I know?

I'd love to see you animate a mainstream track as a music video, to see what you did.

Catoblepas responds:

Thanks dude. I've been asked the music question a couple of times. The answer is that I usually just animate away and then search the music portal for fitting music. This one was a fluke, though because I'm a huge fan of Jim Ether and I didn't even know he had a NG account.

Another cutting insight

Pardon the pun there, but this is another good theory as to the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden. Judging by the last submission of yours that I watched, I must know exactly when Dick Cheney will cut his way out of Bush and get on with running the country in the republican way.

Graphics are excellent, the voices are well done (Why has OBL got an English Accent, as if he were a member of a gentleman's club, drinking tea, etc?)

I'm looking forward to more of these, I'll have to add you as a favourite author.

Snakejohnson responds:

I figured since Osama came from a wealthy family and studied abroad, that he would have a very cultured accent. Thanks for the review

Loved the evolution

You're certainly taking strides in the right direction with these flash. I wish you'd do them more often, but whenever we see another one, you've given us more updates and changes.

I personally like the way that you've got rid of the black lines around everything, it mkaes the animations look less like a cartoon that way.

The one thing I've got to know is when are you going to add voices for this? You wouldn't have to animate mouths for them, as certain other series don't, like Weebl & Bob for example. Was that you yourself we heard as the "creatOr"?

How long will it be, before we can see the next part?

Jimtopia responds:

The reason that I haven't added voices is that I am just not a good voice actor. That was me you heard in the flash as the creator, but believe me the only reason I did that segment is because I knew it was funny. Another reason is that IF i were to give them voices, I would have to basically connect with people over the internet who would be willing to do a voice or two, and be able to keep in touch with them as long as I have the series running, and if I lose one of them, then I have a major problem. The reason "voiced" flashes do so well is good voice acting, and available voice actors, I'll use Legendary Frog as an example. LF basically does the voices for his characters, and he is a pretty good voice actor, the only character's he doesn't voice are Sal, Senya and Kerrigan, Sal is voiced by a friend of his, Senya is voiced by another friend of his, and Kerrigan is voiced by his sister, all very accessible people. I have considered it time and time again, and I just don't have enough people around me that are good at voice acting to make it practical in my cartoons. IDK maybe someday. Thanks so much for reviewing. ^_^

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
