Interesting

A short mickey take from your own previous episode. A shame that you couldn't provide us with some out takes from episodes 1-3, as that would have given much more depth in the whole series.

With the way that it's shaping up, the series is in full flow now, though I would like to see more development of the plot and what becomes of Tabitha when episodes 5 and 6 come around.

The usual sound issues here, where the voices are a little too quiet for some of the pieces of music and there's a little static on them, so maybe slightly further away from the mic or reduce the record sensitivity on the mic next time.

We were thinking about doing outtakes with other ones aswell, just never got around to it.

A little short...

Not a bad piece - it really has got some great potential, which revolves around the poignancy of the situation, though I would have certainly appreciated it being a good few minutes longer, you can then take the situation a lot further.

Certainly a good start and with a start like that, it has a lot of potential for greatness.

Thanks for the review!

Pile of shit

Was exactly what I was expecting from this piece. The animation is basic, crude and not very deep (except in faeces)

I know that you're capable of so much more when it comes down to your animating and writing abilities, so why not give us something that is worth your time?

:(

Yeah, really just submitted it for fun, hopefully I can put out something better soon.

Music > Animation

I can't give you any credit for putting these pieces of music to this animation - it's hardly representative of any kind of justice for these artists. The animation needs a lot of work. Try giving us something that is actually representative of the music itself, then combine it with the beat and get a nice tempo going.

Perhaps, with an animation so short, you will need to hit just one song at a time, as this looks as though you've got several songs too many for the animation, which isn't even as long as one piece.

Once you've got the hang of drawing the animation properly, you'll be able to add a splash of colour, that will certainly help the overall look of the piece.

sigh. people don't understand me. only the animation. sigh.

Steepled in mystery

Not a bad continuation of the story here - I think that there may be one or two areas of the plot and the animation to work on, with perhaps a little better a flow for the pieces of writing. I know it's easier for some people to read, but changing the buttons to something resembling a play button, rather than a note stating "click this when you're done reading" would improve the flow and make it look less messy.

I think that the plot was good and it is developing the relationship between Joseph and Tabitha, while giving us a greater insight into what Joseph wants to get out of his death.

Still, as you go on making these, I'm sure that the animation will become easier to make and as the animation progresses, I'm sure that you will find easier ways to draw the characters and scenes.

I would have suggested a better approach to the music, with possibly a better selection of strings, to promote a more creepy atmosphere and while it was a little loud, compared to the vocals, but it didn't sound too bad, that's all I'm trying to say.

Violet-AIM responds:

As for the music yeah, I understand but it was just something i felt needed to be there, thank you for the review.

A good series

Though it wouldn't have scored as highly in the current climate as it did back in the day, this is still good quality material, that I'm enjoying. I think that it is starting to explore a lot of areas that relate to the human psyche and the whole system of belief. Currently, with the way I stand, I think I'm going to end up in a place like this one, but that's fine with me, if I can watch all of these and see how to cope with it all.

An interesting blend of the interactivity on this movie - the controls are limited, rather than a proper point and click adventure, but I would suggest that it could be made into a game now. I'll bet that the equipment available to the pair of you is vastly superior now and that you could deal with little issues like making the animation look so much better - waggly tails for the ghosts, perhaps? Maybe an opaque finish, so you can see through them a little as well.

Of course, the voice acting will get a lot better too, with a better mic, to pick up the sounds better, with less static.

Violet-AIM responds:

I dont remember if we had a new mic for later stuff, but as the content i liked it because i myself wanted to understand that element aswell.

Not bad

What I'd really suggest is that you spend some time with the notepad to jot down the best ideas and keep them in some sort of brainstorm file, where you can tick them off if you've done them, or just leave them for posterity.

The plot is nicely worked out, with a generous few crossings of the fourth wall, with the characters involved actually realising that they are in a game. It's nice to see that, as sometimes it's not always done well, but you've pulled it off nicely.

I'd like to see you take the action further, as Mario has completed a level on hard within about 20-30 seconds, which doesn't exactly cut it with me - show some more action, as that's what the fans will appreciate more.

Gustavos responds:

Actually that fight scene lasted for the duration of the song (80 seconds or something like that). As much as I like animating a good fight scene, I really have the need to tone it down for a while. Not much has made sense in this little plot. It's time to take advantage of the fact that the viewer can know more than the characters. Some people aren't too good at putting together the pieces of the puzzle, when the number of pieces isn't nearly all of them.

Thanks for the reveiw, I do need to get my ideas in order now more than ever.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
