Good potential

I'm not really someone who goes for scene creation technology, as it's not my avenue of creativity. What I do like is that there are so many possibilities with this program - it's hardly a game, with all that you've done to it.

The only thing that you can't do is take screen shots and make it into a Madness style comic book. What you need to do is have some sort of instructions to get them made up to a printed screen and then get people to post pictures on your own thread, which you put in the Flash forum, or make a club about it in the Clubs and Crews section. That way, individual authors could make their own comics of Madness and we can see what precipitates.

Good idea, I'll try to do that soon

Annoying music

Not having watched South Park for about 10 years, the quiz is difficult for me, but I have managed to struggle my way through the first 20 questions mostly by educated guesswork.

I think that you need to pick some other sort of looped music for the quiz, as this one tends to erode my senses, while I'm trying to concentrate. Why not search for some South Park Music, for example and have the theme tune play on an endless loop?

The pictures aren't of that bad a quality and the tutorial is wrong - I got question 8 wrong and went back to question 6.

19 Days to space flight :)

Took a lot of strenuous testing to get our hedgehog into space, but we did it. One more shooting star in orbit tonight, sir! *salutes*

What a great little game. I was more enthralled with the fun of throwing the hedgehog around and seeing how long I could keep the little bugger airborne for - turns out it was around 2 minutes, which was great. The gameplay was awesome, except for the radar, which I thought was utterly useless, as when you see the pads on it, you don't get enough time to react, which is the only blemish on an otherwise perfect game.

Quite Complex

A nice effort with a decent concept taken somewhat further than other versions that I've seen. The crystals is a new addition that I think works really well. Do any of the crystals get better ranges when they become more powerful, gem-wise?

I'm close to getting the glowing surround for the icons, which means that I've got enough power to take on quite a few waves at a time. It's a great guage of the score that you can see where you have to be to be a 'worthy player'

I think that you could add a new feature, like some characters either coming in with taunts and rebukes for a bit of storyline and banter. Something to give a little tie-me-in for each level.

Hmm

I've never really been one for tutorials, as I've never really had much of a use for them. I think that you've given a nice selection of information about the use of and manipulation of sprites.

I would have given better information about the how to, with animations of the mouse pointer moving about the screen and showing where to click in an animated form - I'm not really one for seeing the sprites move as they should on an endless loop, to show you what you should be after completing the instructions.

Some sort of musical addition would be nice as well - you can find plenty of ambient in the Audio Portal that you would find suitable

An example and further information on animating. Might be an idea. Yea I could have added a ambient loop to the thing, I will next time.

Good, but...

It's got a good few things about it, but I think that you really need to concentrate on the playability more - shooting a golden orb seems to be a little easy. The scope effect makes it look like a night shoot, so why not make the orbs look like they are being picked off in the night.

The scope effect moves a bit slowly and I'm not sure that you need to get something sorted to start the scope off at the cursor, rather than having it migrate from stage left.

Also, when you are moving the mouse around the between levels menu, you need to insist upon a click for the music option - it gets very annoying when I don't want to play the game with a tune.

Scoring the game - you could set that up, with a time limit and also the accuracy rating for the level, making it appear more effective. Maybe earn better equipment in later levels, like a better scope, a lazer sight or some other gadgets for example. You've got plenty of possibilities to work with.

I'm Hooked

What a great Flash game, that's got all aspects covered - great sounds, awesome playability and the AI is good as well - the computer learns from your best moves. I can see that I'm going to have to download the full version at this rate.

I wish that you could choose from your camera angles though - the overhead is nice, but i would appreciate each player in the game being identified by a little more than just the design of their hat. Giving each player the choice of face would bring much more to the game, as you could start identifying yourself around the place.

What's next for this game? Are you going to come up with a modern day version, where the player starts off as a wannabe internet poker player, before gaining access to a few small time games and eventually getting up to the big poker tournaments? This is where the identity from a face really comes in, as not all modern poker players wear 10 gallon hats.

The only other change that I would ahve made for the game is to have a wider range of voices for the characters, as there is only one for the male characters and one for the females. Granted the accents will probably all be the same, but othe than that, they might sound different to each other.

In this game we have recorded the voice talents of 10 voice actors.
We were not sure how voice would be received in the game.
So we decided to be carefull with it in this version.
However if we are going to do a sequel we will probably use more voices.
The voices are received with much enthousiasm.

Challenging, but a little basic

The challenge of the game is to deal with the obstacles as they move, but the patterns are easily discernable, so you shouldn't really have any problems achieving all of the cubes, but with minimum life loss.

If you worked on the graphics more and didn't have the edges of each object with the black outine, the backgrounds would look better and this would take the game to the next level (Sorry for the bad pun)

You're getting there, but I think that you need to put more time into the artistic aspect of this game to get further.

Interesting and good fun.

A quite simple game, which I thought would turn into something like Snake for a time, though I did really enjoy finding out that the gameplay of this is much better and easier to control than Snake. Being able to move in 8 different directions always helps, as you've got a few more paths of escape from the red cells.

I'd have suggested that you make the game a little longer - possibly with other features, such as a boss at the end. Without that, it does hit the wall as a final say, which isn't the best way of dealing with the end of a promising game.

The sound was good, as was the way of showing that you've picked up the blues and even hit the reds. I wish that it was slightly more of a challenge though, as getting to the end of the level with over 100 points of health left and a four figure score was quite easy.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
