But not quite enough tentacle rape for it to be Japanese Schoolgirl getting killed for my liking :P

I think that there's a very good flash in there, it just needs to be refined more. Some additional work on the drawing style, coupled with a few more gags and you'll certainly be up there earning awards left, right and centre.

If you're going to have Panda tear this girl's arm off, show it. We're desensitised on Newgrounds, because of people drawing things like Unicorns with dicks for horns, so what's the fuss of seeing a girl getting her arm ripped clean off?

The movements looked a little jerky, so perhaps work on smoothing them out - tweening might be a solution to this, but then again, I'm not sure. If you need help in this matter, talk to the Flash Forum and see what people say there.

Interesting cast list

Not sure exactly as to the content of all of the jokes in there - some of them must be lost on me, having only briefly played the game on a few occasions.

I think that the animation is largely smooth, except for the combat scenes, which need refining. Slow it down, smooth it out and see how it looks when you speed it back up. You're close to a workable product with everything else, but the subtitles need to be changed. If you're going to censor the subtitles, censor the voices. You can't have the character say "Fuck that" and then write it on the subs as "f*ck that".

Short and funny

Perhaps there should have been a slightly more drawn out punchline there, when the guy beats Mokujin and turns him into som decorative furniture. I'd suggest things like the sound of drills and hammers to accompany the sound of the axe falling.

It's pretty well animated, but when you draw the close ups of the people, please zoom in more and get more control with your drawing implement of choice. That way, when you zoom back out, the image appears crisp and detailed.

It's a good flash as part of a good series, s keep it up and I look forward to more of these :)

I recently started working with the brush more, it will take some refining but I think I'm getting better. I hear what you're saying though, make sure each shot is right, good cinematography and technical detail. Thanks for these reviews. I will put more effort into the next grouping I think doing 19 at a time will work best for me 19 X 3 = 57 -characters or so. I will also strive to make them longer and more innovative. The specification for this first lot has kinda gone out the window after an incident with raster 3d engines. All I can say is there will be more and I will up the detailing chief

Nice blend

I think that's the real beauty of things like this - you get to see the whole range of the artists within the collab. I think that there is a chance for less well known artists to step up with some real quality ones in here, like Yhtomit, for example.

There are some good, some not so good and some funny pieces in here that I can really relate to. I think that people's expression is overall good and that there is certainly a lot of hope for the animators involved in the presentation as a whole.

Are you guys thinking of further collaberative pieces, or will you go your separate ways?

Well, I don't know anything for definite, but some people have said they're interested in taking part in The Sketch Collab 2010, so we'll see.

Basic, but passable

I think that you've certainly captured how to make a functional piece of frame by frame animation. The one issue that I have with it is that you are a little slow with the progression of the animation, making it look a little jumpy. To improve this, an increase of frame rate would be required.

As for the plot, I can see that there isn't really one to speak of, since you're making the piece to be a test and / or practice, so that you can get the hang of this style of animation. More practice is required, byt judging by some of the details, this is hardly beyond your remit.

I think that given time you will be able to produce more good quality pieces, so give it a go and see what pieces of music you can come across in the Audio Portal, in order to get yourself some good bases to work with, much like you did for this piece.

Catchy

I think that this piece is a triumph for vocal work, with the way that someone has made it sound like some of the singing voices are being sung through radios, which gives a nice effect on the whole video itself.

It's well arranged and the resulting piece is one that's shown a proper effort to get the pieces moving right, explosions in the right places, timing being everything and so forth. I can see it growing on me over time, but let's focus on the fact that it was a little short, possibly needing to be about another minute longer and just showing people that there is more out there than just the audio file.

[60 Seconds of Awesome]

Well, it's pretty awesome

I think that this is a damned fine collection of funny flash pieces, which only means that we need more and more of them. Now that you've got enough to make one episode, you need to come back with more episodes of this length and show us a big showcase of your ability and schtick.

I think that the graphics are great and the way that you cross the fourth wall in your pieces is certainly humorous and well delivered. Perhaps these could be extended a little longer each, but the way that you've set up at the moment is absolutely fine.

The next step is sound effects and voices, so these will present more of a challenge to you, unless you stick with the faceless characters that you currently employ, so perhaps a hybrid of the two would be even more awesome?

Sound effects would definitely improve my next submission. I will be sticking with the faceless people, though. I'm not ignoring your suggestion, it's just that "10 seconds of pure awesome 7" came out before this was posted on newgrounds, and that keeps the same character design as seen in these clips. I may be taking on a new style soon, though!

Needs tidying up

I certainly think that a piece like this is worthy of Daily 5th, but it looks to me a little messy. I can appreciate that you spend a lot of time drawing the images and animating everything and so forth, but it wouldn't hurt to tidy it up a little. At the moment, it looks like a Ren & Stimpey cartoon, which while it's a good impression of one, doesn't seem to be the best direction to start with.

Moving on from there, a couple of the voices could have either been more refined, or had additional lines to act like filler - the child protagonist could have said "underwear?" as the shocked musical cue played - it just might have helped me recognised that there was a pile of underwear there, as opposed to something that I have no idea what it is.

Good writing, other than that and while the punchline was weaker than expected, it was still well delivered.
