[Jim and Pals Shorts: Ep 4]

Dragonball Pong

Man, I've had to watch this twice and to be frank, I can't stop laughing. Changing the score only made me laugh more.

What I'd suggest is that you pan the camera further up after the score changes and show us three Jim heads and three Gary heads. One Gary dissapears and Gary gets up to play again. Slightly more humour potential :P

I'd love to see action poses for Jim and Gary, as they battle it out - you could make the pong game last a little longer, as that was some pretty funky animation there. Maybe some MK / Tekken glowing special move effects as halos for them would be called for?

Good work, certainly still underrated for score, but at least you're getting recognition with the way things are progressing.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I really think this cartoon is as near-perfect as it's going to get, adding frilly things like special combo's or lives, would I think hinder the joke slightly, but you had some good ideas. : )
Anyway, I do hope I get some more recognition some day, and hopefully that day is soon. Who knows maybe my next cartoon will hit it big?

This needs work.

Ok, this Flash is a decent submission, but I do feel that it needs a little work - namely, your flicking between so many characters. Maybe consider using one character for each individual song, as it gives the song a better continuity, rather than jumping between games so often.

With the mouths and eyes, you need to spend more time and attention - getting the lip-sync right is essential, as is making sure that the characters aren't cross eyed. Things like this make the flash look so much better for comparatively little effort.

There are plenty more Weird Al songs, so why not give it a go with another song.

Eyes bigger than his belly!

Firstly, I'd like to start with the preloader. Without a doubt, the single best preloader I've ever seen on Newgrounds and I've seen a hell of a lot! Nice randomness from Brackenwood.

I loved the flashback sequences, as Bitey suddenly becomes very scared (and a trifle maternal, if only for his own safety) it knitted together nicely with the rest of the plot.

Thinking about it, the waterlollies nearly made Bitey lollipop :P As always, some creature or another administers the only type of Karmic Justice that Bitey seems to understand. His own fault I suppose, but then again, will he ever learn?

Let's hope not, as it's made for a unique brand of epic comedy that I'm sure the Newgrounds Public love to watch.

[The Burgaler's Warning]

Ok, so the animation style was pretty good - I'm not sure that I liked the guy jumping up and down for the effect of speaking... maybe it's just a side effect of him being desperate to go to the bathroom.

I'd suggest that 'random' things, like torn peices of paper have different shaped torn edges in future, rather than just taking the same scene and altering the text - it doesn't look right, to be honest.

On top of it all, I don't think wee needed to see the guy's wiener. Besides, if you've got a penis shaped like that, I'd seriosuly suggest you go and see a Doctor, it shouldn't look like that :P
