[Jim: The Movie (Trailer)]

Well, this is certainly a very good trailer for an eagerly anticipated movie. I think that you could have done with having the option of subtitles - trying to hear what everyone is saying is difficult, when trying to watch the animation and trying to keep the volume down from watching it at work :P

Still, the graphics are awesome (Loved the way you portrayed Jim as simple, showing his component shapes and then his reaction to your 'badly drawn' comment.) And so is the plotline. Obviously, I'd like to see the rest of the movie, as you've given us the highlights and the coming never is bound to be bullshit... isn't it?

You're a great animator and it is time for you to take the next big step of putting a full feature together, dammit!

Almost everyone who's reviewed wants me to make this into a full length cartoon, but honestly that's just not in the cards at the moment. I really want to finish my submission for the X-mas 07 contest, that's my main priority right now. I guess we'll have to see what 2008 brings in the way of Jim, but I gotta say, a big movie wouldn't be for a long time, if ever. Plus if I did make this into a "full feature" I would have to include all these parts into it, and I think that could really screw up the storyline, lol. Anyway, I appreciate the vote of confidence that you usually give me in your reviews, but Jim isn't meant for a long cartoon, at least not yet. Maybe someday you'll get tickets to go see the full length "Jim: The Movie" in theaters; wouldn't that be cool? =P

What, no evolution?

Didn't some of the previous flash in this series start by having a pokemon (previous episode's character?) evolve into the new beastie which is the feature of the episode.

Obviously, I'd like to see better animation, as Hitler should at least make a small attempt to dance. How else is he supposed to steal Tutenkhamun's thunder as most famous dead person. I know he'd never end up hosting Strictly Come Dancing, but I'm sure there could be other career opportunities for straight armed pointing, like a weatherman, or something.

Well, that was an amazingly brutal piece. I wasn't expecting that at all.

Leonardo looks really freaky with his completely solid white eyes. The way that the facial expression shows off his murderous intent was really good though.

Although the flash was too short, there is a simple way that you could have made it longer - make a short freeze frame, similar to in the Road Runner cartoons, showing each character with their name and maybe something witty about them as well. Also, don't have the characters of their names jumping up and down, as they become quite difficult to read.

Maybe also do one for the Mosquito, as that would be a chance to show off drawing skills of something other than a person or background. A title for the mosquito like 'The Aggravotor' would help, for example.

Cock Joke!

Well, the jokes are quite old, but the presentation is neat and funny. Thankfully, we don't have to put up with the smells of the stink room, to appreciate the joke. I did notice one or two little problems though:

1) The lip-sync goes a little awry about the time of the joke about the cock. I think the flash looks much better with perfect lip-sync, because it really does. A little work will reap big rewards.

2) The position of the Cockrel - the guy on the left was staring at the other man's groin, so why did the Cockrel walk on from the far right of the screen? That part of the thing doesn't work. A cutaway scene, like with the package joke works great.

Still, a nice little flash you've got there :)

[iShirm&Rena #2 HS]

Worth a look

I've watched both parts and will deliver verdicts on both below:

iShirm - I didn't understand the language of the pumpkin song, but I would definately have preferred the pumpkin to remain the same size, with the mouth changing size - stretching it just didn't seem to work. Samuel L. Jackson was a bit of a shock, as he bludgeoned the skit to death.

Little-Rena - I thought the Pumpkin was cute. Though it could have done with a mouth (and maybe a bow on its head :P) I'm not sure about the way it died, in the shower of colour, but that's the only real gripe I have.

Maybe grab a few more buddies and make some extra parts, to improve the longevity of the piece, but other than that, you're on the right track.

[Tornado Alley]

I don't get it...

Well, I don't really get the joke, but what the hell, it may be because I've never heard the joke bout a cow and a tornado. Perhaps you could enlighten me.

I assume that with the ending, cow meets himself, so the whole universe unravels completely, causing the end of the flash, amongst other things.

With regards to the seizure sky, I'd reccomend that you tone it down - maybe a dark blue, which occasionally flashes with lightning, as I've not got epilepsy or any other kind of seizure disorder, but it really makes it difficult to views the screen.
