Not a long enough loop

This is quite a good piece, in that you've done a good drawing and animated the blood drops off the heart. Shame it doesn't really have much else to it (save for the subliminal message)

I'd love to see this having some meaning to it, but regardless of that, it's certainly too good to be scored as Turd of the Week

Sir-CannabisClock responds:

I dunno about anyone else, but I'm content with my poop trophy :D. might not be the most glamourous award but hey, gets me views

Needs more work

People have tried making files which tell users how to operate the basics of NG. For example, the FAQ is there for a reason. What I would suggest you do is put in helpful pictures, like screenshots of the Under Judgement flash to tell people what to do, actually show them how to vote on a movie etc.

The music is annoying and could well put people off watching your tutorial. I'd either add a mute button or put a selection of tracks in.

Sidorio responds:

I'm learning buttons still. I'll add more picturs next time.

Dark humor... issues?

Well, it's a good flash, but I think it's far too short. You said in your comments that everyone gets hurt at Xmas. Why didn't you go into stuff like that before having the body of this flash?

Still, the animation is good, the sound is great and I did like Choir of Bells.

I still think you need to get yourself a girl and find the true joy of buying her some lingerie for Xmas ;)

It's only a scratch

A great animation, with good graphics, sound (except for the static on the burning) and a decent punchline

And they said the age of the short was dead. This is a nice little match (who reminds me of elmo) who died because he didn't have arms. Maybe matches need to evolve arms?

Wonchop responds:

Or maybe thorns. :3

Disturbing, yet hilarious

And a Merry Ghostmas to you as well, Michael!

This is a great animation, I never knew you had such a good singing voice. I'm almost tempted to go out and throw pumpkins at people's houses / cars / property myself, but since it's getting late, I won't bother... Next year, however...

The animation is awesome (I personally loved the death of the conscience again) and the concept is completely off the wall and once again, I'm running out of superlatives to describe how good this series really is.

I love the way that he gets around problems with life by simply being too dense to grasp the concept - something I occasionally wish I had

The one problem with this episode must be that by the sound of it, you have merged Halowe'en and Xmas, so does this leave us bereft of a Blockhead Xmas bonanza?

The-Swain responds:

I am pretty certain that Blockhead will be back for Christmas, and I've got a decent direction to go with the episode if he does. I just hope that when I read this review in January, I can look back and see that I was right!

The Conscience "death" was just a little flavor I threw in there for the heck of it; it didn't seem forced this time because I wasn't using it to resolve a problem. At least that's how I see it.

Also, I don't know about my singing voice, but I'll tell Blockhead you thought his was swell :D Though it's much easier to sing to a song you've written yourself, since I had my own vocals in mind when I wrote the sucker.

Bizarely disturbing

Well, having been desensitised by watching trailers for Saw III, this does look rather tame.

However on reflection, it is a frankly awesome piece. This method would cause a hell of a population crisis, but who cares.

I love the animation style, the concept and the cold, clinical finish to the piece

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
