A good day to die

This is the sort of tune that would go along with the forces who have the odds stacked against them. "Today, my loyal followers, I cannot promise you victory, but I can promise you an end so glorious, it is worth the bards telling epic tales of your sacrifice for generations to come!"

The drum beat being slightly more up-tempo than the sort that is resigned to defeat, it still has the underdog's overtones, but I think that it is still worth being prepared for the battle.

Not that this is how the battle will play out - it's more of a piece dedicated to the preparation for the battle as opposed to the conflict itself, so maybe a few other bits and pieces need to be changed. Battles might need something more ferocious in tempo and beat, to get the blood flowing, even with the slow motion pieces that directors like to do in things like Kingdom of Heaven, for example.

Good stuff

A nice driving beat, a well composed melody and some neat variation combined well makes this tune a decent effort that puts me in a good mind about the sort of hell you are referring to - a loud, industrial place, where evil never sleeps.

The fast pace of this all makes me feel like we are not here for fun and games, especially when the melody puts a great sense of urgency in place, as if I really shouldn't be here and should be after a good look around, since I'm not in hell for my own sins, merely as a reporter in this sense.

Could maybe use a little slower section towards the end, as if it was a large hammer slowly falling, echoing the judgement of the infernal court on the souls of the damned. That would really top the track off.

Very LoZ

Nice little track - good ambience from this piece that certainly matches with the rest of the layout of the whole Legend of Zelda setting.

I think that you're on the right path with this piece. It puts a user in mind of the traditional setting and pushes it forward with a nice remix.

Again, it's a shame that it doesn't really loop too well, but then again, in the scheme of things, with people walking in and out of rooms in quick succession, you don't necessarily get all the way through the track, so I think you've covered the bases by having 50s, which most people can deal with one room in.

Needs a better loop

Not a bad piece, though I would hope that you could produce a better quality looping for when the piece was used in a flash of some sorts.

I think that you're getting to a position where you're providing the suspense for any setting similar to Legend of Zelda, but I think that it needs a few subtle tweaks before being provided as something that works properly on a game.

Edge of my seat

This piece is quite tense, with the listener feeling as if they are in as deep trouble as Link would be in the sort of Dungeon that you're aiming this towards. Perfect for games or movies around this sort of genre, that needs the tension and suspense.

A shame it doesn't loop well, but with a minimal amount of tweaking, that can be addressed and we can suddenly see this piece take off, and some quality flash be produced to accompany it. If you're not going to loop it, I'd suggest making it longer and adding a little more variation.

Up beat jazz

I like this tune, it's a very nice introduction tune for some sort of standup comedian - I particularly think of Lee Evans in this situation, as he did some particularly funny apeing around to a track like this in 1993.

Maybe this has other merits - the pseudo-rock overtones that you put in there work well and I think that they can be built upon for the future of the track nicely.

Perhaps it needs to be about half a minute longer and with a little more variation - the horns are great, by the way - you'll have something that really suits the form you're seeking.

A shame it doesn't loop

This is a nice sounding tune, that presents itself as a nice, positive piece, which is what a lot of people need at this time of year, when the reflection on the last 12 months is about and many people fail to see how the new year can bring new promise of fortune over again, regardless of what has preceded it.

I think that you've got a talent for uplifiting tunes, so you need to explore this avenue more thoroughly and present some more tunes filled with positivity to us, as you'll get quite a fanbase for it.

Sit and watch

Picture yourself lying on a hillside, staring at the visage of the moon as it wheels overhead, enthralling and captivating those who watch.

It's not quite as relaxing as that particular imagery that was cast, but I can see what you're trying to get at - perhaps make it slightly longer and more calming - perhaps add some harp music, as the ethereal sound of angelic personages overhead might add to the mystical properties of the moon itself?

Ah, positive effort

This track is a nice sounding tune - one that maybe even qualifies for 16-bit games. It's a little more detailed than your last track, but the intro says very little about the tune that you're trying to put across.

I assume that this is your personal theme, as opposed to the traditional 1970s TV Series "Z-Cars", which some people might think about.

Try making this longer and adding more variation to this, as this particular piece has a good scope for variation and development.

Too simple

I'm sorry, but you can't make an effective loop from 9 notes, then loop it around again, to double it in length and then drop the whole double loop by one octave and play it over again.

It doesn't convey anything that people want to know about what the tune relates to. Listen to the tunes that accompany 8-bit games. Seriously, the term "8-bit" does not translate to pile of shit, so why feel that making a tune like this will do games of this calibre any justice?

To tell you the truth, I din't make this...............that's right! Mikkim did......

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
