Jesus kills 78, world ends!

Is this really the end of Madness? I feel empty inside, because I was always expecting Hank to get up and finish the job himself.

Awesome graphics and despite some of the earlier episodes looking somewhat devoid of plotline, save for the violence, they appear to have produced one of the finest pieces of animation that I've ever had the fortune to witness :)

The plot has progressed steadily, with bigger and better guns and foes to this climactic ending to the series. How will you carry on now? Any other major, groundbreaking and violent series that you have planned?

I have to say that considering the relatively humble beginnings of this series, you've certainly managed to give certain characters in this personalities, with Jesus, Hank and Clown actually having eyes. I thought that the clown was the greatest bad guy, but this evil overlord character that infected Jesus had more than a few nasty surprises up his sleeve.

Is there any symbolism in here, as I could always give you a short essay on the religious overtones, should you so wish.

Urgently needs an overhaul

I suppose we should be grateful for the small mercies in having a decent amount of sounds in the flash. That was about the only endearing quality.

What we need to start with is the basics - get the sprite sheet for the godzilla you chose and manipulate it (Use some tutorials on NG to find out more) to give you the moves you want, rather than using a poorly applied paintbrush to extend the arms in a lazy fashion.

I do quite like the effort you added with the addition of Godzilla's face, because it indicates that you're willing to at least make some effort, so all is not lost. Maybe get a mottled effect for the colour, so it looks the same as the sprites.

A better plot line would help and in the end, searching the internet will give you access to better sounds, rather than the depressing splat that ended the whole thing.

Its not a splat its a fart and if you read through the other reveiws you will see it did its purpose in being funny.

Quite funny

What this really needs is a few small, but vital amendments:

1) A preloader. I don't think that you should be making this into a loop, as it does tend to stop it being such a good flash, otherwise. Plus, you could ahve some credits at the end that way as well :)

2) A blank screen, with the question "What would your best career be?" or something like that. Then you've got the angle to have the character answering the question.

I quite like your style of animation - reminds me of the style they use in "The Fairy Godparents" I think that was what it was called (Let's hear it for Children's TV as a hang over cure :P) It may have been a little short, but it does have quite a few bits of decent manipulation within, so you have got more than a basic grasp, that's to say the least.

1) I already mentioned in the description that I couldn't add the pre-loader. I couldn't find the original .fla files I needed. Believe me, I was kicking myself when I found out about it. Nevertheless, I still wanted to see what the Newgrounds community would think of it. Rest assured that I will have a pre-loader for all my other animations here.

2) The question would have been a really good idea. However, like I mentioned in the review below, this was meant to be placed alongside other animations that the rest of the class did.

Thanks for the review.

Great story

This is a really well made flash - a great plot line and some good animation to boot. I've never really been enthralled with Manga as an animation or drawing style, but you've carried it off nicely.

The enemy creatures that you've given us are nicely designed... individuals and the way that they died so easliy may have seemed like a bit of a cop-out, although it really does just create more work for you, having to draw more specialised foes for the protagonists.

I would certainly suggest that when you come to making episode 3, you try to stry a little from the Manga, as there are maybe a few too many lines in the images. Making it a more simple shape, concentrating more on the outline could make the animation run that little bit smoother on the less powerful machines.

I look forward to Episode 3.

Ultimate Guilt Trip.

You might wish to consider changing the age rating for the movie, as some of the pictures are merely in there for shock treatment, especially the emaciated corpse.

Very funny, with both of the shorts delivering laughs which are both topical and hard hitting in places. Some of your gags are so accurate that it's beyond satire and it's actually factual, especially the China / Russia thing.

I liked the way that you did the voices for Megatron and Prime - just what software did you use to ge the neat effects?

Chakra-X responds:

Yeah good point, I did. Great that you recognized the importance of the facts.

I didn't do the voices though. Shard-Spider used a program to overlap different tones of his voice, and I think he used an echo effect? You can do that in programs such as Goldwave and (this one is free) Audacity.

Really well done

First of all, I have to say that this is my girlfriend's favourite Wierd Al track ever. This was the first Weird Al video I showed her and she absolutely adored it, so she's been hooked on it, mostly because of you two :P

The animation is great - the only thing I'd have personally done differently is for when he staples the bagels to his face and removes them with the pitchfork. The skull didn't quite look right to me - maybe leave a few staples in his face with bits of bagel still attached - it always happens when you remove things that have been stapled to walls, so why not faces.

Great working of the script, by putting your wife in it. I'm glad that this song has given you so much happiness and I can only hope that this will contiune for you both.

Golbat suited better

Certainly, with his big gaping mouth, Golbat would have suited the episode numbered 169 :P

A half decent converson of Hitler - who is his taylor? Does he go to some swanky Saville Row taylors, even though he tried to kill them all off years ago, just for the ironic vlaue?

Doesn't this sort of image and / or flash photography scare off the bats?

Wonderfully poetic.

A lovely little piece, demostrating the domino effect, where the whole civilisation of the world is handed over to the cockroaches, complete with the post-apocalyptic background.

The only part I'd generally pick a hole in is that fact that the Titanic, which was well out of context. There is the more obvious one of President Clinton being in office during 9/11, but it's close.

Wonderfully animated, with a great plot and sound effects to boot. I think that the guy managed to give up smoking for the rest of his life, so technically, he died a non-smoker.

Quite Random indeed

What I'd really say that you need to do with this creation is to give it a little more 'oomph'. I'd suggest that you take it further, by having something else happen to the 'sick guy'. Maybe have it precipitate into a larger being walks past him and something comes of that new situation, where you can give us more surreal works.

I'd certainly like to see what you're capable of writing, as the animation style is nice. It's easy on the eyes and you can quite easily see what high quality you've achieved.

Pepeto responds:

Hehe, thanks for your review.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
