Over sounded

This is a decent submision, but I feel that you over egged the sound a little in places - sometimes, there was too much static on various effects and they sounded way too loud for the purpose in the context of the animation.

Now that I've over-used my allotment of long words for this review, I'll get onto the good stuff. The drawing of SBC was good and it seemed to fit very well with the animation, but I'm not really a fan of the 'chunky' background that you drew.

Are you going to do something clock related for anything other than Clock Day?

Yea alot of the sounds were alot more lo quality then I would of hoped.

I was dissapointed with most of the backgrounds myself.

Maybe, most likely no.

Nicely done

I was a little late on getting on this particular band wagon, but hell, it's a good song. A shame that there's the occasional bit of static on the audio track, but I feel you can rarely have it all.

What I did appreciate was the South Park Canadian animation, which was really nicely used, though I must pull you up on the interpretation of one particular line. Did you think it was "They treat Hurling just like it's a real sport"? The look on the face of the Canuck seemed to give that impression, because I've not seen people with faces that smashed in from playing Curling, which is the line :P

Still, you've done a great job, give us more Wierd Al flash!

Different

I think that this is a really well designed piece. The one place that you really let yourselves down is by the fact that I viewed it best on my sofa, which was 20 feet from the screen. The images are too square to be watched close up and concisely deciding what they are.

Still, I'll merit the piece when actually watched from the sofa. It's really good. You've all managed to capture the essence of sprite drawing from the 1980s and 90s and you've turned it into a whole heap of abstract animations, ranging from sublime, to ridiculous, to completely abstract.

I don't really know why, but my personal favourite was the prism, splitting the light beam into the 7 colours.

Are we to expect more collabs from you guys?

Nice improvements

This is a well constructed flash where you've shown us the techniques of manipulation and also backgrounds. I think you've made a few basic errors though:

1) The music was wrong. Not bad quality wise, but it sets the wrong mood for the whole flash. That's similar to boss fight music, rather than 'tutorial jingles'. The tempo wasn't right in the tune to keep me interested either.

2)The speed of the flash was wrong - I found myself reading the contents of each speech bubble and then waiting for too long to get the next one or next action, which was slightly more drawn out than needed. Perhaps a 'next' box on the speech could speed things up and some work on tweening to speed the movements up slightly.

With these improvements, I'm sure you're onto a winner though :)

Nicely done overall

At first, the blue background didn't look like it suited the flash, but after about 10 seconds, it really fit in quite well. I thought it was a bit random, but when it's taken in the context of the whole thing, it is very nicely worked.

I think you could do better with the sound quality, as it was a little static-laden in places. Are you thinking of making further flash of this style, or are you going to branch out into other styles, as you've proven that you are a good animator when it comes to Frame by Frame.

Perhaps the next project is worthy of more depth to the pictures - colours and maybe backrounds as well?

Reminds me of On The Moon

Although it is less insane and a lot shorter, this is a quality piece of animation. I love the fact that Darth Vader was having brunch with a Stormtrooper just behind Red.

Now for something like this, you need to come up with plenty more episodes for us. How long did this one take you and therefore how many could you produce in a year? That way, people become more accustomed to it and generally would enjoy the cartoons more.

You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.
