A faggot is a wonderful regional delicacy from a place known as the Black Country. This is the area around West Bromwich and Wolverhampton in the Midlands of England.
The faggot is a traditionally pork dish, made with pork meat and offal, minced in with herbs spices and breadcrumbs. The dish is wrapped in a stomach and baked for roughly one hour. This dish is traditionally served with mashed potato, peas and gravy.
