Do I spy a Malm Ikea drawers set? If not, they look exceptionally like the Malm chest of drawers I used to have. Pretty snazzy stuff I have to say.

Also, putting together furniture from Ikea late at night really isn't a good idea. But if you don't do it the day you bought it, it always lingers around in your mind and you can almost hear it say: "Put me together and do it NOW!"
I've assembled 3 pieces so far and will hopefully be building the other 2 tomorrow. Just the 6 drawer unit and the wardrobe to go now :)

Speaking of ties, do you have a pink tie, or anything similarly "shocking"? It's getting more and more fashion, it seems, as my dad actually bought a couple of them. And what's more, he bought a pink shirt as well! My my, don't let Bahamut hear this...
And the furniture looks good, but it seems the bed and the new bedside table do not match. At least the wood colour is different... :P

Ties - I do not own a pink tie, nor do I ever want to own one. I'm quite comfortable with my sexuality, but I just don't like the colour pink.
As for the furniture not matching, I got the bed when it was cheap back in December and the furniture was a forced hand for the 75% off sale at Ikea.
And A-Rod will hit his 600th HR - he's going to take a few games to get there, but he's going to do that and probably pass Sosa quite soon.

I think that black really wouldn't have gone with the wall colourings. I'll be posting a video soon, when I get the old wardrobe removed and the rest of the stuff from that packed away, it will actually start to look like my bedroom...

It was far too warm in that room to be wearing a suit jacket. Those curtains must have been 1/2 an inch thick! Not a good idea to be sleeping behind them at the start of July.
Also on the suject of clothing isn't pink supposed to be an ultra conservative color in the U.K., my tailor informes me that there is even a mens store in london called "pink"
I'd never wear a pink shirt - scarlet, on the other hand...
The closest you get to the pink is one or two stripes on the tie and another one I own, which has one or two spots.

Well, the first one is still in one piece as far as I'm aware - you don't need an electric screwdriver with Ikea, as it all fits together really fast. I did build the drawer units the wrong way around, with the sides having the groove on the outside, but I won't make that mistake tonight.
The main issue that stands is the tidying up of the crap that needs to go in these units.
At least I have somewhere for my porn now :3
