Coop
You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.

"Sorry Bahamut, but if you want the 1,000th Response, you're going to need your 100th flash to come and get it ;)"

Or I could delete one of your old responses and wait until you get 999 responses and then re-respond! >:) j/k I don't think I'd get the timing right anyway.

At the rate I'm reviewing at the moment, you probably wouldn't get the timing :P

if you're not already at 1000,
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view /493559
:3

Well, all being well, this will be Response number 991.

Go figure - the responses dried up :(

Tell your friends, more people need to help me out!

Ok, these are now reviewed by me. Respond to them and take me to 1,000 Responses!

I'd post a link to that drawing I uploaded to the Art portal, but I already know what's wrong with it.

I need some damn money so I can go buy flash. :(

You don't need flash to draw with. Try searching for Gimp, that's free.

Johnny do good?

*facepalm*

The doodle in question is hand-drawn, but... now that I think about it, I've had this conversation with myself before:

Even if I did have flash / photoshop / gimp etc. I still wouldn't be able to do much with them. I can't draw with my right hand, and I can't use a mouse with my left. I'd need a Wacom tablet as well as a drawing program if I wanted to make anything worth a shit (ergo: it'd likely be expensive regardless of how free the software is).

I got given a scanner recently, and I was hoping I could use it to get around the above problem, since I can upload hand-drawn stuff now. Problem is, it turns out I've completely forgotten how to draw properly too. -__-

...I think I'll just stick to making crappy BBS posts for now.

Practice makes perfect. Get yourself a sketchbook and just draw when you feel like it. Don't use an eraser and possibly hang around the Art forum for hints and tips.

Forgive me reaper, for I have sinned

Tell me your sins. Justify your existence to yourself and pass.

You have more than 1000 review responses...

Congrats Coop!!

Thanks...

I already knew that ;)

So you're like a mod now or something.

Correct, five points. Your bonus question on "The Bleeding Obvious" is: What colour are Newgrounds moderators' auras?

Yes - BBS and Reviews.

Congratulations on your 1000'th!
Now act like a cad, and go to the red light district to celebrate :)

Nah, there's better ways to celebrate my birthday. Hopefully, my girlfriend will have got the none too subtle messages :P

Having a girlfriend is nice, though terribly expensive...
Which is why I only try to date someone around my level of wealth, or above it.

At least more women are going dutch, a long boring rant will ensue if I don't stop here... So just try to enjoy your birthday!

Ah, but if your girlfriend is richer than you, she will expect you to buy her expensive gifts, as she is used to it, no?

I try to keep my spending down, but it will get used in various scenarios.

Interesting theory however in my experience, whenever I've dated someone with less money than myself, I always feel as though they expect me to pay for dinner, movies, ect.

In a specific example, I once went out to dinner with a girl, and when the cheque came I pulled out my wallet to pay for my share of it.

When the girl I was with realized I was only paying for my half she kind of gave me that "better pay for my meal too" look, and we basically spent ten minutes staring down each other. Then the waitress came and I ended up paying for her meal to avoid a scene.

I actually was going to pay for her meal anyway, but it would have been nice to at least see her offer to pay her own bill.

On the flip side when a girl has a good job and stuff, I find they're wanting less things since they can buy anything they want with their own money anyway.

Obviously holidays, and birthdays are still things that they're going to expect gifts for but that seems fair to me.

Anyway I haven't dated too much, sadly I didn't really have time for dating till I was 18, and since that relationship lasted till I was late 19, my experience has been limited to "event" girls.

I wasn't really serious about dating till I was eighteen, at 16, and 17 I was just enjoying the "hanky panky", with the office cougars and such.
So you're probably more experienced in this kind of thing than I am...

It truly does depend upon the situation. Some women that I've dated wanted to pay for their share, some didn't. I find that the women with less money have more pride in their situation than those with it. I guess we're both generalising here though.

Apparently you didn't get the joke?? I STILL don't have any animosity toward you, (and I never have). But anyway, thanks for the 3-day ban. and ...Happy Birthday?

When it comes to the automatic bans, Moderators have had a sense of humour ectomy :P

This comment has nothing to do with your proposition for reviewing others flashes.
Rather, I feel compelled to bring to light the fact that myself and many other members contributed a major amount of spam to an obvious spam thread, even posting "risky images."
You locked the topic.
Yet banned no one, regulars and n00bs alike.
For this I have to say, you have my e-respect completely.
It's not hard for mods to be ban happy even for those who've been on the site longer than them.
I've been banned at one point in time for (I believe) 30 days for posting an image of myself holding a bag of Marijuana, a week for posting a box of tampons, and countless other times for no reason whatsoever.
So in summation and reiteration, it's good to see someone who isn't hell bent on banning half the BBS.

As for flash reviews, I'd like to say I have a really awesome flash I want you to review, but all my flashes are "For the lulz" spam flashes.

Anyhow, good day sir.

~Mike

Thanks, I try. I've only been modding for 3 months now, does this reflect upon how I will continue to work? Possibly.

Oh, and I banned one person I think from that thread...

ONE day ill beat u coop and that farting contest is still on!!

NEVER!

And what farting contest? You mean the one I beat you in AGES ago?

:P

Great, I was just banned for 7 days for quoting the Chapelle Show. This is starting to get to be a bit ridiculous.

take it up with jarrydn - he was the banner this time

this guy name spoildmilk just spams people and leaves stupid posts. he doesn't contribute, he posts porn and he's not funny. also, i don't believe i have any flash submissions that you wouldn't think was spam, but you can check my audio i guess.

Dude, he's spammed your news posts. Deal with it. There are four red buttons under each comment [respond] [delete] [ban user] [delete all by user], so if you don't like what he responds to your news posts, ban him, then delete all of his posts to your news posts.

I wasted fifteen minutes trying to work out what the hell you were on about here. Text pictures aren't porn - even furries and hentai freaks have trouble getting off to that. I was actually quite impressed when I first saw that woman text image.

(yes i know you can't ban him but i believe there should be at least a warning or punishment.

See above - it's not my problem, he's not breaking any BBS or Review rules, I don't have to do anything.

alright, i get it. i'll keep in mind what each moderator's job is. but he does make retarded reviews. btw nice reviews. i thought i had alot when i got to 300.

Thanks - I dabble with reviews

oh, and for porn, it wasn't ascii. obviously. i meant links to porn and shock sites.

Again, if they're being posted on your news posts as comments, ban them and delete the posts. If it's on the forums, you can PM mods and they can take it from there. The same goes for reviews (but a different set of moderators)
