Hey Coop! Good to hear from you! I've missed NG, and I quit WoW for like 3 months minimum, so I get to spend more time here. Well, a bit at least, I have an exchange student from Luxembourg coming, who'll take up a lot of my time too. Your roads must be absolutely terrible if you're goin to the paper to complain eh? The road to my cottage sucks, we bottom out our car on it every time we go there :'(
You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.

I've not played on WoW for quite some time now - I must pull back my subscription, as it's just wasting money for me now.

Yeah, the road is really bad - the tarmac has almost completely worn away in places, so they repaired it with fill in patches, but the road surface continued to disintegrate around the patches, so now the patches are like islands :$
I only made about 490 saves yesterday. I think that is more than last year, but it started pretty slow. And right when the portal sped up a bit, I had to leave home... well, "had" is not the right word, as I went to a party a friend of me gave. ^^
Also, I too didn't get a single blam. But I only voted 0 on two or three movies.
Only on two or three movies? I voted on something a lot closer to 50 with a score of 0
After having August 15th long booked as an official 'write-off' day, I woke promptly at 5am and got to the portal just in time to catch the last of the August 14th non-clock day submissions still UJ.
After a good 20 hours at the portal (with occasional breaks for food, hygiene, and sanity), I called it a day at 1am, with an extra 1,131 saves under my belt. I voted 0 on a fair few things in search of that blam, but just like you, I didn't manage it :(

Yeah, the occasional breaks are good, but I think I need something like an ice pack for my neck... either that or a very large, comfy recliner. Something like what Freddy 'Warlock' Caludis uses in his command centre (Die Hard 4.0)
Sounds like you kept yourself pretty busy yesterday. It was a good clock day I thought but impossible to get a blam.
I ended up with a total of 821 yesterday not one single blam point! Spent most of the day getting my wifes account to police Lt ending up with a total of 457 saves. I was prepared to call it a day until I checked your account and saw that only 200 or so points separated us. So I kept plugging away until after midnight finally ending up with a total of 365 gained for my main.
Other than that lots of work, and homework. My concert on the 13th was freaking awesome, I'll post pictures and details eventually.
I've got some serious catching to do, as now I'm into the territory of those vying to get into the top 50. It's so close I can taste it!

9 Hours? That's amateur - On Clock Day, I spent 16 hours and I will acknowledge that I wasn't the most committed user around Clock Day. Now I need to turn those gains one August 15th into solid stat whorage, which I feel I have accomplished :)

I wasn't staying awake all night or anything - I just got up at half 7 in the morning and didn't get offline until 11pm or thereabouts.
The secret to a good clock day is clearing your social calendar. Book the day off work or be sick from school and get the job done.

That's right, I get paid and I get to check the portal at the same time. Great, isn't it?
I'm not as bad as ReconRebel, who spent most of the time during his night shifts on NG back in the day of about 2-3 years ago. I just work in an office and can get an extra 20-30 B/P per day due to the extras of working and checking the portal :)

Well, it's a technical issue, but I get paid for checking the portal when my colleagues go for a cigarette break. I still carry on working, answering the phone if it rings during this time, but it's a way of keeping everyone in the office happy - we don't shut down for 5 minutes while my colleagues are smoking, after all.
Oh I get it! Your in telemarketing, and you go on newgrounds everyday while you make phone calls at your desk! Wow thats brilliant!

No, I work behind a desk of a housing developer. Business is slow at present, but regardless of that fact, I still get time to hit the portal during my colleague's breaks, as already mentioned and of course during one's lunch hour.
It's a case of taking the chances when you get them, as they are never presented to you on a silver platter.

I've just checked the B/P ranks thread and I reached Supreme Commander on the 2nd of September 2007. I've been there just over a year now, which is pretty good, considering I've managed over 15,000 B/P in a year.

Actually I just didn't have internet for three years. All of my stats, except for some reviews came from November of 2007 to now. Over 15,000 B/P and 7,000 some posts is dedication if it came in less then a year right?
Some people would see 7,000 Posts in one year as Spam :P
I'm not questioning your dedication to certain areas of Newgrounds. I'm stating that if you really wanted it, you'd have gotten access to the internet, even for 2 minutes every night, just to deposit your experience.
