You know, I stopped shaving to think of something to write here. That worked out well.

Well it sounds like you had a swell time. Did you take any photos?

Yeah, there were plenty of photos, but I've been so busy getting back to normal life, that I haven't had time to upload them from my phone. They will be here soon and I will provide pictures and links.

"passing such scenic locations as Liverpool (Hi Bahamut!)"

OMG!! 0__0

Good to hear you had fun. :)

Well, the scenic part may have been slightly sarcastic :P

Seeing the Liverpool fans when they were watching the Champions League Semi-Final was quite... interesting, especially the lone Chelsea fan, who was dense enough to run around singing chants about how they are going to win the Champions League...

You'll see more about the holiday when I get those videos sorted. Not if, when.

Dude, you need to work out more. You're breathing so heavily, heh... :P

Too bad I didn't understand all what you were saying, due to my problems with understanding accents and the rather poor sound quality (due to the wind blowing).
But the landscape sure looks fine. And your post reminds me that I planned on putting up a news post of my trip to Scotland. But I didn't feel like translating the 7 pages I've written in german about that trip... and now it's a little too late for that, I guess.

I was about 1,000 feet above sea level at the time

Transcript:

"Ok, so we've struggled our way up and now on the left of your screen is Lake Windemere. Doesn't she look HUGE ... and awe inspiring. We've walked all the way from the bottom of that, up through the village... and up this hill.

Which is great... until we pan around this way. Yeah, and that's what we've still got left to climb. I reckon that we've got about 25 minutes to do that in, so that could be interesting. I hope to be taking a video from the top of that in less than half an hour."

You could just translate the interesting points for 'edited highlights' in your news post :P

I think you followed in my footsteps. Literally.

Hope you two have many more awesome holidays to come.

Many more holidays will be had - I think it's a family one that's planned next time.

"The Village" meant Ambleside, which was somewhat more than a village. I must reccomed that you try the "Thunder and Lightning" ice cream, as it was very nice - the rumble of thunder as we disembarked from the boat was ominous, but I only viewed it as a sign that I must try that flavour :P

You know, I might actually do that. Thanks for the idea! :D

But for now, I've made another news post about a more recent event. You should check it out. ;)

Thanks, I'll be sure to check it out.

lol, wl dne! you should try the welsh 3000! ya go up snowdone and donw, this other one i cant remember, and its hard. i slept 4 aq day after doin it, but give it a shot!

Maybe I'll give that a shot at some time in the future. I think there might be a trip to Jersey in the offing, but I think that the only way to do any decent walking there would be to walk laps of the island.

Sounds nice.

This pic (<a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/30/Claife_Station.jpg">http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia /commons/3/30/Claife_Station.jpg</a>) makes me want to go aswell D:

I really should upload another news item, this was months ago and it's High time I found something else that is new.

Still, it was a great time and that piece of architecture is very interesting. Where abouts in the Lakes is it?
